Welcome

Women's National Team Open Program - February 20-23

Welcome to the registration for the Women's National Team (WNT) Open Program!

The WNT Open Program is a development opportunity for collegiate athletes to receive consideration for selection to both our Women’s National Team and National Team Development Program age group national teams. In 2025, members of our Women’s National Team will compete in the following events: Volleyball Nations League, NORCECA Final Six, and the NORCECA Pan American Cup.

Based on birth year, athletes may also be in consideration for selection to our 2025 U19 (2007 or younger), U21 (2005 or younger) and U23 (2003 or younger) Women’s National Teams that will compete at the following events in the 2025; NORCECA U19 and U21 Women's Pan American Cups, NORCECA U23 Women's Pan American Cup and the FIVB U19 and U21 Women's World Championships.

This program is open to current and recently graduated collegiate athletes born in the years 2001-2007. Athletes born outside of this age group may contact Kris Berzins (kris.berzins@usav.org) for approval to attend.

The WNT Open Program will be held from February 20-23 at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center (OPTC) (1 Olympic Plz, Colorado Springs, CO 80909).

Lodging, Meals, and Travel: The Women's National Team Open Program is an event with both a residential option and commuter option. For the 2025 WNTOP, residential space at the OPTC is very limited. We will likely sell out all available beds for athletes at the OPTC. Do not delay in registering if you want to reserve a space on campus.

Athletes that register for the residential option will have the opportunity to stay on the OPTC campus, with an option to check-in either Thursday, February 20 or Friday, February 21. For optimal program readiness and experience, staying on the OPTC campus with arrival on Thursday, February 20 is highly recommended. Athletes staying on-site will be provided ground transportation to and from OPTC to Colorado Springs Airport, meals at the OPTC cafeteria from the day of check-in until the day of check-out and accommodations on campus.

If an athlete registers as a commuter they will be required to stay off-campus. Commuter athletes will be provided meals at the OPTC, but will be responsible for arranging their own lodging and ground transportation to/from the OPTC campus and their lodging.

Stay on-complex, arrive on Feb. 20: $565
Stay on-complex, arrive on Feb. 21: $475
Stay off-complex: $365

NOTE: Per NCAA legislation, it is allowable for an institution, if it so chooses, to pay the actual and necessary expenses for its athlete to attend a National Team tryout.
